About Me

Life is full of indescribable joys. I want to capture them as best I can.

Born and raised in the great state of Alabama, I am a Southern girl through and through: I love Southern Hospitality; a thoughtful card in the mail is my favorite and I appreciate the word "y'all". I drink coffee in the mornings and look forward to the day ahead. I rarely sit still. Time well spent is spent with my sweet husband, family and Heavenly Father. I'm constantly planning my next trip to a new place or the mountains with TC. We met in 2006 after getting paired for a formal. It was the most perfect night and I've been on cloud nine ever since. After our wedding in 2010, he graciously moved to Sweet home Alabama with me.

I live to know God more. His grace is sufficient and His love so much sweeter than anything this world could dream of offering. I'm thankful every day for the price my Savior Jesus Christ paid so that I could be free and have life more abundantly.

I love those indescribable moments, amazing people and seemingly insignificant adventures that fill daily life, so that's what I write about on here. Though “I find in myself desires which nothing in this earth can satisfy, the only logical explanation is that I was made for another world (C.S. Lewis),” I want to make this life count. Because what happens here, matters. Thankful I don't walk it alone and thankful I walk with a purpose for which I am unworthy. I am a counselor and find comfort I know the Wonderful Counselor (Isaiah 9:6).

I could laugh all day. Travel every week. Spend time reading. Visit the mountains. Stay in a cabin. Go fishing. Take a Drive. Live outdoors. Buy more dishes (I love my dishes). Plan a game night. Have constant conversation. Discover a new adventure. Enjoy an accomplishment. Learn something new. Watch a sunset. Sunrise. Embrace the ability to work. Laugh. Taste new foods. Breathe ocean air. Be with people (and hear their stories). Everyday.

I hope you share your indescribable joys on here too.
