Rainy Morning

I like when the week ends with a rainy morning. It's perfect for sleeping in or staying tucked inside with a book, blog, and coffee.

One of our best friends was in town all week so we were able to take a vacation day this past Wednesday. Middle of the week vacations might by my new favorite. Granted, you only have about 24 hours for fun, but it makes you feel like you have two two-day work weeks. Can't argue with that. For our out-of-town venture we went to Pensacola Beach, Florida. The weather was absolutely perfect - warm enough to swim, cool enough to not feel you were having a heat stroke. We spent all day (with the exception of lunch break) in the sun. We have burns to prove it. The getaway was great. The catching up and laughing at old jokes - even better.

Trent is running a 5k this morning and I found Google Picasa's new photo edits...A "5k" of some sort is on my bucket list, but not on a rainy morning.
