"City sidewalks busy sidewalks, dressed in holiday style. In the air there's a feeling of Christmas. Children laughing, people passing, meeting smile after smile. And on ev'ry street corner you'll hear, Silver bells, silver bells, it's Christmas time in the city. Ring-a-ling, hear them sing. Soon it will be Christmas day. Strings of street lights, even stop lights, blink a bright red and green, as the shoppers rush home with their treasures..."

TC and I had our mostly weekly, Wednesday night date last night. He got to pick shopping or surprise. We went shopping. Before you judge to quickly, our shopping stops consisted of Bass Pro Shop and Academy Sports and Outdoors and he was warned our surprise involved a little bit of a drive and being outside for about one hour. It was cold last night, hence the shopping selection (and the promise of fulfilling the surprise date next Wednesday). I'm glad he picked it though. Christmas is only 16 days away and we still have a few presents to buy. On the plus side, we know everything we are getting for everyone , it's just a matter of finding it.
Bass Pro Shop is the best at Christmas. I appreciate their festiveness. Not too mention, I've gone to Bass Pro Shop every Christmas for years (it might be a tradition?!) With a cup of hot chocolate in hand we mosied around...and unfortunately left presentless. But our visit was very worth it. It's cabin themed decor got me VERY excited about our Christmas trip to Gatlinburg with the family. We will be spending Christmas Eve in the Smokies, a dream come true. If you know how much a love Tennessee and the mountains, you know how giddy I am just writing this.
I love Christmas. I love TC.
